Mary Tolhurst
Leader
I have been practicing in Early Years since 2007. I hold a 1st class BA (Hons) in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.
I am the settings SENCo and Designated Safeguarding Lead. I firmly believe that a positive beginning in a child’s early years experience will build the best foundation for their future learning and development.

I have always had a real passion to work with children and find my role incredibly rewarding in many ways.
I will continue to update my qualifications and attend many courses making sure I have the best knowledge needed within my role.

Claire Durso
Early Years Practitioner
I began working at Catey Pre school in 2015 where I gained my level 3 qualification in childcare and development.
My favourite thing about working with children is making them smile, laugh and feel comfortable and safe within the setting.
I enjoy being able to help the children in their learning and development and to see their confidence grow when they achieve something.
We have a great team here which makes it a lovely environment to work in.

I have continued to update my training in First Aid and Safeguarding.
I have been a member of the Catey team since 2017, and feel very lucky to work with the loveliest ladies.
I feel privileged to be able to teach and guide the children in our setting, on the individual learning journey, witnessing their growth both emotionally and academically is beyond rewarding.

Michelle Robinson
Early Years Practitioner
I started work at Catey in 2010,
In 2014 I completed my level 3 qualification.
All 3 of my children have attended the setting and enjoyed every minute.
I work 2 days a week and love my days at Catey, each day is diffferent and we have so much fun. I love seeing the children develop and grow and make a confident transition into primary school.
I will continue to develop and learn to ensure I’m giving my best to the children.
We all work well together as a team and our dedication and commitment to Catey is paramount.

I will continue to update my safeguarding and first aid as well as any extra training I feel will benefit my knowledge to support the children.
I feel so lucky to be working in this lovely setting with such a supportive team.
